Strength doesn't come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once couldn't.
Help spread substance use disorder awareness
On September 18th 2020 a member of our community and someone very close to our hearts was taken from us. This day was created to honor a lost loved one, but to also spread awareness about the seriousness of addiction. This day we will all come together to uplift those in need as well as each other. We hope to see you all at our very first annual Rysean's Awareness Day.
I have decided to start an awareness project in honor of my son, September 18th 2021 will be the first annual Ryseans awareness day. It is hard, but I know this is something I must do, its taking everything out of me to get this done. I thank the people who have stuck by me and helped make all of this possible. I will be having speakers come out to express the severity of addiction, to express to those in need they are not alone and the fight is not over. We will also be providing information and resources to those in need or that have loved ones in need. I look forward to seeing each and everyone of you there.
"My story is filled with bad choices, regret, and second-guessing. However, everything I have been through brought me toward the path of redemption. I have learned from my mistakes and have risen from the ashes" - Angela
